Overview
As every year, Ducati celebrates the performance of its riders with special series. 2025 will have shone the spotlight on Marc Marquez and for good reason. MM93 dominated, soared over, stunned the season to the delight of the parent company and the fans… and provoked Bagnaia's descent into hell.
In Bologna, they are changing the "strategy" for the tributes. The tradition was to offer large Panigales in hyper-expensive replica versions. This time, the choice fell on a Panigale V2S, covered in a design unlike any machine entered in competition. The livery, adorned with a large 93, reproduces the graphics of the Desmosedici used for the post-season tests in 2024 in Barcelona.
Ducati strongly specifies that Marc Marquez trains with a Panigale V2 during the season, in order to increase the prestige of the machine. This special edition is precisely more circuit-oriented than the standard model, with the installation of more sporty handlebars, forged rims for greater agility (- 1.5 kg), an Öhlins steering damper, racing grips and a more protective screen. The fork stem is marked with the identification of the motorcycle, because the Panigale V2 MM93 is a numbered series (but not limited). All this for 3,000 euros more than the Panigale V2 S.
With this model, Ducati reinforces the sporty image of this machine which has gently slid towards less performance and radicality. Its engine plays a different part than the brutal Superquadro and seeks to be more exploitable with its variable distribution. On this motorcycle, the rider can enjoy 120 horsepower and 9.5 mkg, Öhlins suspension, Brembo M50 brakes, a featherweight of 175.5 kg (without fuel) and powerful electronics: Up&Down shifter, 4 Riding Modes, traction control, wheelie control and engine braking, cornering ABS, launch control assistant and speed limiter in the pit lane.
