What strikes you is its ability to pass Euro 5 without losing any of its soul. Triumph has even gained in responsiveness by reducing rotational inertia and shortening the two first gears. The result is an engine that pulls with rare sincerity, a high-precision mechanical device that sings without ever shouting. It's far from a simple roadster; it borders on a mechanical musical instrument.
