Overview
Who said that sporty roadsters had a monopoly on character? Triumph proves the contrary with this Tiger 900 GT Pro Aragon Edition, a machine that takes to the road with the assurance of those who have winner's blood in their crankcase. The idea is simple: to transpose a bit of the madness of the Baja Aragon rally, won by Ivan Cervantes in 2022, onto a civil road bike. The result is not a faithful replica, but rather a clever nod for those seeking an extra dose of soul in their GT.

Visually, it’s a breath of fresh air. Faced with the standard range, sometimes a little restrained, the Aragon Edition asserts its red, black, and white triad with a welcome insolence. The two-tone seat and decals are subtle, but the spirit is there. We appreciate the detail of the GPS coordinates engraved under the seat, pointing to the heart of Aragon. It’s a motorcycle that tells a story before it even starts, and that, in these times of standardization, is priceless.
The real surprise is the equipment-to-price ratio. At €15,995, this special edition is priced lower than the standard GT Pro, while offering a complete arsenal. The 45 mm inverted fork, the electronic damper, the 7-inch TFT screen, the Brembo Stylema calipers, and all the electronic aids are standard. We even get the quickshifter and the center stand. Triumph is playing a master marketing move here, offering an almost complete pack to seduce the demanding touring rider who wants a machine ready for the big trip without going through the options box.
On the road, we find the intrinsic qualities of the Tiger 900. Its trio of 888 cm3 delivers 95 horsepower and 87 Nm of torque, figures that feel right for a dynamic road bike. The engine is supple, charismatic, and pulls with conviction from the mid-range. The chassis, with a dry weight announced at 198 kg, offers a balance between stability and agility. Compared to a BMW F 850 GS, more oriented towards off-road, or a Yamaha Tracer 9, more nervous, the Tiger 900 GT Pro Aragon finds its place as a comfortable and technological road bike, ideal for swallowing up highways or mountain roads with a significant amount of luggage.
This special edition therefore has everything to please. It targets the rider who wants a complete GT road bike, loaded with technology, but who refuses anonymity. It is less radical than the Rally Pro Aragon version, reserved for trails, but it perfectly embodies the spirit of a great English road bike. Its only flaw? Perhaps making the standard version seem a little bland in comparison. For those seeking a distinctive machine, ready to cover thousands of kilometers in comfort and with a defined style, this Tiger is a very, very convincing proposition.
