Overview
The CVO Road King doesn’t simply return in 2013; it’s also offered as a limited-edition 110th Anniversary series. As with all CVO models, its refinement is closer to luxury than to preparation. The two-tone color scheme of this 110th edition, namely Diamond Dust and Obsidian with Palladium motifs, is the most understated offered for this CVO.
In addition to the beautiful selected components (Agitator wheels, Slipstream controls, audio system, chrome, etc…), the 110th features a series of commemorative medallions, a specific seat, an engraved numbered plaque in the center of the tank, and the privilege of belonging to one of the 900 fortunate riders who were able to acquire it. Here’s the aroma; let’s appreciate the taste later—that of its engine, the largest available as standard equipment from Harley: the Twin Cam 110. More than 1800 cm3 of metal, of fat, of torque, of emotions, and of throbbing growls. At this level, it’s neither charm nor temptation—for any fan, it’s halfway between torture and fantasy.
