Overview

The Breakout has earned a fine reputation since its launch. It is appealing and full of charisma. Now, it wants to recapture its initial flamboyance, when it was born within the aristocracy of the CVOs. And here it is, more striking than ever, becoming the Pro Street Breakout. More muscular, more shadowy, straight out of the claws of a demon, the machine announces itself as diabolical.

Dark and luxurious, with appendages that make it even more combative. The Pro Street Breakout asserts its territory with its minimalist fork head and short engine guard. The Aggressor wheels with a smoked chrome finish will not fail to pique the curiosity of enthusiasts, who will not only have that pretext to highlight the work of the Custom Vehicle Operations workshops. But before delving into the luxury of this Harley, let's turn our attention to its front end. The Pro Street reinforces the prow of the Breakout with a 43 mm inverted fork held by new yokes, the lower one featuring 3 clamping points.

A CVO is big style and a no less big engine. The year 2017 is notably marked at this level: the Milwaukee Eight exists in a Screamin' Eagle version with 1870 cm3. The Pro Street Breakout is unfortunately the only CVO not to benefit from it. This mission will be for the Twin Cam 110B Screamin' Eagle, which still has in its connecting rods enough to fulfill this function, with 1801 cm3 of fat and metal. Here in its version with balance shaft, the American block pushes with 16.8 mkg of maximum torque at 3500 rpm. Thus, it delivers almost 2 mkg more than the standard Breakout motor-powered by the TC 103. Do not look only at these figures... Approach it. Appreciate the finish. Taste the CVO work. An unprecedented smoked satin chrome finish is applied to the exhausts, the pushrods, the cylinder heads and the instrument housing.

After leaving the assembly lines of Milwaukee, the Pro Street Breakout passes into the hands of experts who will offer it more nobility and justify its demanding price. It is distinguished by its high-quality paintwork. The rider grips a Drag handlebar with a smoked satin finish, the eyes escape the night with a multi-LED headlight, the seat discovers a saddle inspired by speed circuit racing. The MoCo's com department knows how to flatter the ego but does not share our vision of sporting arenas - between the vibrators, the saddles are only pieces of foam as thick as slices of sandwich bread. The American inspiration goes beyond purely Cartesian manifestations. We are wandering, and risk missing the footpegs, anchor of the gear lever, brake pedal and grips from the Airflow collection. Like all CVOs, the 1800 Pro Street Breakout is produced in limited edition. It demands 6000 euros more than the Breakout; the price to become the master of an urban and profound creature.
