Overview
When Benelli decides to play the pure style card, the result is the TNT 1130 Cafe Racer, a version that sits somewhere between the Sport and the Titanium in the Pesaro manufacturer's lineup. Three kilos less on the scales, 215 kg fully fueled, and above all a radically different riding philosophy: clip-on handlebars replace the standard bar, leaning the rider forward and transforming the riding position into something that feels more like an intention than a leisurely Sunday ride.

What strikes you immediately about the Benelli TNT 1130 Cafe Racer is the visual coherence of the whole package. The redesigned front fender, the single-seat carbon tail section, the taller windscreen, the forged aluminum Marchesini wheels: every detail tells the same story, that of a machine conceived for aesthetics as much as performance. The eccentric-adjustable footpegs allow riders to fine-tune their position to suit their build, which is a rare consideration on a machine of this size. The 820 mm seat height demands long legs or a healthy dose of confidence.
Beneath the steel trellis frame connected to cast elements, the 1130 cc three-cylinder remains mechanically unchanged. Benelli left the 137 horsepower delivered at 9,500 rpm and the 109.8 Nm of torque at 7,750 rpm untouched. This engine needed no correction: with an 11.2:1 compression ratio and an 88 x 62 mm architecture, it pulls cleanly up to 240 km/h. The one sonic concession — and it is a significant one — is the Termignoni exhaust, which gives the engine the voice it deserves. The suspension receives particular attention: the 50 mm inverted fork gets friction-treated tubes, and the rear monoshock benefits from a revision, both offering 120 mm of travel.
At €14,490 new, the Benelli TNT 1130 Cafe Racer now turns up on the used market at prices that can attract fans of Italian twins and triples looking for an alternative to the usual references. This is not a beginner's motorcycle: 215 kg, 137 hp, and clip-ons that physically commit you through every corner require prior experience. Its natural audience is the seasoned rider who wants a machine with strong character, capable of turning heads after a weekend ride while remaining practical for daily use thanks to the 16-liter tank and well-spaced six-speed gearbox. Up against a Triumph Speed Triple or a Ducati Monster of the same era, the Benelli plays a different hand: less consensus-driven, more visually decisive, with that extra soul unique to Italian machines that fully embrace their own singularity.
