Triumph Speedmaster 2025 — Specifications

For riding, it’s hard to imagine anything other than a trail-GT these days. There are plenty in the Triumph range, plenty everywhere, so many that it’s almost impossible to make a choice. But riding is defined in many different ways. For example, for cruising quietly with a lot of class and West Coast sensations, the English brand has a fine piece with the Speedmaster.

Its beautifully presented twin-cylinder engine, its abundant torque, its sensations steeped in England and California sunshine, its refined finish and relaxed riding position invite you towards the horizon and sunglasses. And what’s more in this Icon Edition?

Elegance, very dear. That is, another dose of elegance. Members of this 2025 collection have chosen to revive one of the brand's old logos. The decoration specialist must carefully apply it by hand on the fuel tank. Unlike most other “Icons,” the Speedmaster does not have gold pinstripes. However, it gives much more space to the “aluminum grey,” which makes it “brighter” than other members, and further highlights the emblem of yesteryear. A “sapphire black” stripe runs across the fuel tank to take you to an "Icon Edition" stamp.

A trim that the Speedmaster only presents in 2025. Triumph collections (Icon, Stealth, Chrome, Gold Line) last only one year. A tastefully executed creation, likely to be appreciated with subtlety or restraint.

This Bonneville-Cruiser is the opportunity to appreciate the 1200 High Torque but also a very low seat, spoked wheels, 78 hp, 106 Nm, a switchable traction control system, two Riding Modes, cruise control and a beautiful design. A shame that the instrument panel doesn’t have the charm of a Thruxton or the T 120 and that passenger comfort is relative.
