Overview
As much as one side sees the supermotard become enormous, full of watts and imposing with machines like the KTM 990 Supermoto or the Ducati 1100 Hypermotard, some manufacturers think of the young (or less young) who want to discover the Supermot. So, what could be better than a lightweight 125 and not too violent to learn the art of putting your foot down in the curves...!
Suzuki brings its DR back out of storage, gives it a bit of cosmetic surgery, dresses it in 17" road tires on spoked rims, and modernizes its old air-cooled single. Fuel injection has been installed on the 124 cc two-valve engine, for better pollution control and more flexibility. They didn't just graft an injector on it to face 2008: a process named SJCS injects oil onto the walls below the piston for better cooling. A balancing shaft is added to limit the vibrations of the single.
