The numbers set the scene. We're not talking about a nervous sportbike — we're talking about a luxury liner built to devour continents.

The ThunderStroke 116 cubic inches has matured over the years. Since the Indian Roadmaster 2020, revised cylinder heads and a compression ratio raised to 11:1 have given this already generous powertrain a second wind. The 90 horsepower looks modest on paper, but it's the torque that does the heavy lifting. From the very first wheel rotation, the thrust is strong, linear, almost lazy — as if the engine never has to strain.
