Overview
The Softail Convertible is not only stunning; it’s also two-faced. Its original equipment makes it a Touring model: compact fairing with a smoked windscreen and leather saddlebags with buffalo hide inserts (this wild leather is also found on the seat and passenger pad). Adapted for Grand Touring, these elements have also been designed to be removable to streamline the Softail Convertible’s lines for less adventurous rides. The fairing and saddlebags are thus easily removable and fixable without tools. In a few minutes, your motorcycle transforms into a custom cruiser with a solo seat, vibrant paint, dazzling chrome, streamlined lines, and a powerful engine. Numerous elements are available to continue enjoying this Softail: grips, footpegs, passenger footpegs and gear lever tip, brake pedal pad and mirrors from the Rumble collection, new wide rear fender wrapping around the tire and a lowered front fender, new two-piece chrome and color-matched fuel tank console, and a new combination of digital speedometer and tachometer. The 2011 model improves its audio equipment with 3.5-inch speakers and a 20-watt amplifier per channel mounted in a revised fork head. The soundtrack comes from an 8GB iPod nano housed in a protective pouch.
