Overview
Imagine a custom motorcycle that has swallowed its little brother for breakfast. We knew the Fat Bob, this brute with a dragster urban look, but here, we move to the bodybuilder version. The CVO department at Harley-Davidson took the already muscular base and injected it with a massive dose of mechanical testosterone. The result? A machine that borders on caricature, but fully embraced to the ends of the grips.

Under the teardrop-shaped fuel tank lies the beast: the Twin Cam 110 with 1803 cm3 displacement. The figures are telling: 96 horsepower, that’s correct, but it’s its 132.4 Nm of torque, available from 4000 rpm, that defines its character. Here, we're not talking about engine speed, we're talking about brute force. The beast exudes a low-end authority that presses you against the low seat, 68.5 cm from the ground. This feeling of immediate power, this visceral growl, is the very essence of the Harley myth, pushed to its paroxysm. Compared to it, many Japanese or European customs seem quite tame, almost aseptic.
But this excess of displacement comes at a price, and not just the 27,000 euros it cost at the time. The announced weight is a real sledgehammer argument: more than 326 kg fully fueled. In the city, it’s a bodybuilding exercise, and tight turns require ministerial anticipation. The 49 mm fork and front dual-disc brakes do an honest job, but they manage a considerable mass. This is not a motorcycle for attacking a mountain pass, it’s a motorcycle for dominating it by its mere presence. The top speed, around 170 km/h, confirms that the pleasure lies elsewhere: in the unique sensation of riding a torque block on wheels.
So, who is this XXL Fat Bob for? Certainly not a beginner, who would be overwhelmed by its size and character. It’s the mount of the Harley purist who wants the ultimate expression of the brand, the collector, or the confirmed rider looking for a mechanical sculpture with a unique temperament. It crushes the competition in terms of raw emotion and image, but concedes maneuverability and agility to lighter customs. It's an object of passion, irrational, excessive, and terribly charismatic. You either love it or hate it, but you don’t ignore it.
