Faced with competitors like the BMW F 900 XR, better equipped as standard at an equivalent price, or the Triumph Tiger 900 GT, Ducati plays the card of image and pure dynamics.

This new generation V-twin, with its Desmodromic variable distribution, is clearly the protagonist. Ducati boasts a generous torque range, with 75% of the force available from 3500 rpm. Paired with a chain transmission and high-end Brembo radial braking (double 320 mm discs at the front), it should offer this mixture of suppleness for the road and bite for mountain passes that defines a good sporty trail. The 19-liter tank and evolved aerodynamics aim for autonomy and comfort on long distances.

Ultimately, this Multistrada V2 S 890 2025 is aimed at the demanding globetrotter who seeks the agility and character of a Ducati without the extremes (and the budget) of the V4. It is neither the most loaded nor the least expensive in its category, but it brings a promise of lightness, customizable electronics and that hoarse engine that defines its identity. It is a credible and seductive alternative for those who accept to pay the price of the pirate, options included.
