Overview
Facing the overwhelming dominance of the Japanese in the hyper-sport category, Aprilia has always responded with a fist of metal and a radical philosophy. The RSV4 RR 2021 embodies this uncompromising tradition, a machine that places pure efficiency and technical aggression well above considerations of convenience. This is not a motorcycle one chooses by default; it is a precision tool for those who understand the specific grammar of a high-revving V4.

Its 999.6 cm3 engine is a mechanical masterpiece. The 65° V4 delivers 201 horsepower at 13,000 rpm, a figure that speaks for itself, supported by 115 Nm of torque arriving at 10,500 rpm. The short stroke of 52.3 mm for a bore of 78 mm betrays an appetite for high revs. Electronic management, with its eight injectors and ride-by-wire throttle body, allows you to tame this fury, but the beast's soul remains wild, demanding, rewarding riders capable of keeping the revs in the redline zone.
The dual beam aluminum frame is the other pillar of its identity. With a wheelbase of 1420 mm and a ground clearance of 130 mm, the geometry is designed for stability in tight corners and quick mass transfers. The 43 mm Sachs inverted fork and the rear shock absorber, both fully adjustable, offer a frank dialogue with the road. Brembo M4 brakes, biting on floating discs, stop everything with an authority that brooks no argument. 200-size tires at the rear ensure generous contact.
With a 840 mm seat height and an 18.5-liter tank, the RR imposes an engaged, almost track-like position. The advertised weight of 204 kg fully fueled is felt as lighter once the machine is in motion, thanks to exemplary mass centralization. The official consumption of 6.67 L/100 km is a minor detail for this type of machine; real range is measured in intensive sessions on winding roads, not kilometers traveled.
This Aprilia is aimed at the experienced rider looking for a characterful alternative to Japanese inline four-cylinders. It demands technique, commitment, and a certain tolerance for its exclusive character. It does not flatter, it educates. On the open road, it transforms every turn into a high-precision exercise, rewarding rigor with a feeling of total connection that few of its rivals can match. It is a demanding motorcycle, sometimes intimidating, but with absolute mechanical honesty.
