Overview

When Noale decides to pull out all the stops, this is what it looks like: 202 kilograms of metal supporting a 65-degree V4 engine with a displacement of 1099 cm³ capable of delivering 217 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 124.9 Nm of torque at 10,500 rpm. The Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory is not a motorcycle to be tamed; it’s a motorcycle to be earned. The 2024 Factory version is listed at €25,999, positioning it in the highest segment of series hypersport motorcycles, where it crosses paths with the BMW M 1000 RR and the Ducati Panigale V4 S. These rivals are serious. But the Aprilia has its own arguments, and they are solid.

Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory

What distinguishes the Factory from the standard RSV4 doesn’t touch the engine block. Nobody would modify an engine that flirts with a top speed of 307 km/h. The difference lies elsewhere: on the lightweight forged aluminum rims, which reduce unsprung mass and make the motorcycle more responsive in transitions, and especially on the integral Öhlins components. The 43 mm inverted fork and the single rear shock absorber are both electronically controlled via Smart EC 2.0 technology. Six automatic and manual adjustment modes allow you to switch from a track calibration on slicks to a more tolerant behavior on the open road. For a rider who frequents the track on weekends and returns home on Sunday evening, this flexibility is invaluable. The 845 mm seat height and contained weight remain limiting factors for shorter riders, but this Factory is not intended for them.

The Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory technical specifications reveal a perimeter aluminum frame with a rare feature in this segment: the ability to reposition the engine in the cradle and adjust the geometry as needed. The swingarm has been reworked, its inverted bracing facing downwards, allowing you to save 600 grams while increasing structural rigidity by 30%. This kind of detail isn’t visible on a technical sheet; it’s felt in quick transitions. Braking entrusted to Brembo with two 330 mm discs at the front and radial-mount monoblock calipers requires no compromise. The 220 mm rear disc accompanies more than it brakes, and it is perfectly suited to the usage.

The onboard electronics deserve attention. The fifth generation of the APRC groups traction control, the bidirectional quickshifter, engine braking control, anti-wheeling, launch control, cornering ABS, and cruise control. Everything is configured from the 5-inch TFT screen via the OBTi interface. Six riding modes in total, three track-oriented, three road-oriented, with several engine maps associated. It’s dense, it’s consistent, and unlike some hypersports that drown the rider in unreadable menus, Aprilia ergonomics remain accessible once the logic is assimilated. The Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory 2024 also integrates LED headlights with dynamic cornering illumination and aerodynamic winglets integrated into the fairing, two evolutions that contribute both to the aerodynamic performance and the visual signature.

One regret, however, and it is shared by many buyers who compare it with previous generations: the original exhaust doesn’t do justice to the character of the V4. The Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory aftermarket exhaust remains one of the first modifications that owners rush to make, and we understand why. The engine deserves a voice worthy of its 217 horsepower. Absence of carbon fiber parts as standard also, where some competitors make it a visible argument. These two points do not call into question the overall relevance of the machine, but they explain why the gap between the price of the Factory and that of a completely customized standard version is debatable. For the track rider who wants a hypersport exploitable on a daily basis and devastating on the track, the Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory remains one of the few tools capable of fulfilling this dual commitment without major compromise.
