Overview

Seriously revamped, the 450 renews its "Monster Energy Yamaha Racing Edition" color scheme. It features a black body with blue accents and Monster Energy motifs, inspired by the look of factory race bikes. This look is widely adopted throughout the Yamaha range, both in motocross and sport models. A look requiring a few extra euros. Note that there are no technical differences between the standard model and the Monster version.

For 2023, Yamaha focused on the development of an all-new version of the YZ450F, a machine now lighter, faster, and easier to ride, designed to live up to its prestigious heritage.

Equipped with a new, lighter and more powerful engine, a new lightweight chassis, and all-new ergonomic bodywork, the 2023 YZ 450 F represents a major advancement for the flagship model in Yamaha’s motocross range. On each motorcycle, the rider and the machine must work in harmony to achieve optimal performance, which is particularly true for a motocross model where constant shifting of body weight is necessary during acceleration, braking, and cornering. For an off-road competition machine to be perfect, it must represent an extension of the rider's body and mind. This is why the development team for the large motocross machine focused primarily on the rider's needs and expectations.

A rider-centric design Rather than introducing ever more complex new technologies, the designers followed a rider-centric approach, evaluating the potential benefits that any new feature could offer to each rider, regardless of their skill level. The result? A highly competitive motocross bike, fast and enjoyable on all types of track, whether the rider is an experienced professional or an occasional amateur. Offering a 5% power gain and weighing only 109 kg with a full fuel tank, this new model confirms Yamaha's position at the top of the discipline.
