Overview
2013 marked a slight evolution for the XJ6 Diversion F: new passenger grips for a better hold, LED dashboard lighting, anti-slip material to cover the seat, a chain tension indicator, and clear turn signals. Serving a sensible touring bike in white and timid under its clothing? Well, no! The XJ6 reveals itself to be much more than that. Its engine has punch, the chassis is frankly nice, and it also has presence. With a Diversion variant equipped with a head fairing, the machine opens up to touring and protection. And here, the range welcomes this 3rd variation to continue the journey. And there, it has even more presence, and it almost smells of sport. Here is the XJ6 Diversion F – F as in Fairing, which could be translated as bodywork. The robe is complete and the machine is now fully faired. The air intake ducts on the sides even give it a serious sporty look. It’s striking, and this bodywork increases the level of protection. Enough to come and face the sexy Kawasaki ER-6 F, whose recent overhaul has really boosted its sex appeal. Under its attire, the Diversion F retains the diamond-type steel frame, the 75 horsepower 4-cylinder engine, and should largely preserve the ease of riding of the XJ with more touring pretensions.
