Overview
When a relatively confidential Spanish brand releases a motorcycle called "Rally," one expects either a beautiful promise or a marketing name slapped onto a road bike lacking conviction. Rieju, resurrected from the industrial ashes of GasGas, clearly plays the first card with this Aventura 307 Rally. And the gamble deserves attention.

The 293 cc single-cylinder engine, architected around a bore of 78 mm for a stroke of 61.2 mm, develops 33.5 horsepower. This is the regulatory limit of the A2 license, a calibrated setting to reach young riders and latecomers to two wheels, without overwhelming them with unmanageable power. Four valves per cylinder, six-speed gearbox, chain transmission: the mechanics are classic, clean, Euro 5+ compliant. Nothing revolutionary, but a solid foundation whose limits and resources Rieju knows.
What differentiates this machine from a simple small displacement engine dressed up as an adventurer is the chassis equipment. The 43 mm inverted fork with 235 mm of travel, combined with a mono-shock absorber with identical travel, places the Aventura 307 Rally in a different category than its direct rivals. The KTM 390 Adventure, often cited as a reference in the segment, displays comparable travel but costs significantly more. The Honda XL750 Transalp is in a different price category. Here, for 4,500 euros, Rieju offers a geometry frankly oriented towards off-road, a robust steel tube frame and a 20.5-liter tank that opens the door to long stages without forced stops.
138 kilograms dry weight, that’s light. Very light, even. This figure makes all the difference as soon as you leave the tarmac: a motorcycle that doesn’t weigh on your arms in sandy or rocky sections, it handles, it’s picked up, it manages itself alone in a bivouac. The announced top speed of 150 km/h clearly indicates that this is not a motorway machine. It is not intended to swallow up motorway kilometers at 130 in a comfortable cruising speed. Its playground is the forest track, the dirt road, the rutted pass, with the national road as a link between two off-road sections.
The only point that leaves one perplexed in the technical specifications is the absence of information on the tires and seat height. For a rally-oriented motorcycle intended for varied builds, this data counts. We hope that Rieju has made the right choice in terms of mixed tires, consistent with the generous suspension travel. At this price, the Figueres brand signs an honest and well-armed proposal for those looking for their first real adventurer without mortgaging two salaries. The gamble is reasonable, the ambition readable.
