Overview
Once the first off-road laps have been discovered with a CRF, a YCF, or a PW 50, or even one of the many small 50cc bikes on the market, young riders may be tempted by more watts. A more competitive machine itches with age as they grow. With its performance and reliability, the CRF 110 F concentrates all of Honda’s off-road heritage, proudly extending a lineage of small 4-stroke leisure bikes born nearly 4 decades ago with the XR75.
Today, this tradition continues with a bike equipped with fuel injection, a 4-speed automatic clutch gearbox, and electric starter.
Chassis
With its welcoming architecture and low seat height, the CRF 110 F represents an excellent stepping stone for those who have done their first laps on a 50cc bike.
The CRF 110 F features a steel double-beam frame, as do its elders in the CRF range, along with a reinforced swingarm. This assembly allows for an optimal balance between rigidity and comfort.
A conventional fork ensures effective and reassuring handling with 99mm of travel. It is paired with a single shock absorber that ensures this small bike tackles bumps with efficiency and comfort.
Like every member of the Honda off-road range, the CRF 110 F proudly claims its heritage. The 4.5-liter metal fuel tank - which integrates the fuel pump and its filter - is protected by the frame design in the event of a fall. Inspired by that of the CRF 450 R, the bodywork is topped with a seat only 657mm high and complemented by a wide handlebar with knurled grips, perfect for small hands.
The multifunctional switch installed on the handlebar integrates the starter button, the ignition power-on indicator, the fuel injection system indicator, and the reserve indicator, which lights up when only one liter of fuel remains. The brake lever is adjustable for greater comfort and performance.
Engine
The CRF 110 F is powered by a simple SOHC 109cm3 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers progressive and easy-to-use power for beginners.
The bore and stroke are set at 50 x 55.6mm with a compression ratio of 9 to 1. The Keihin electronic fuel injection system ensures consistent and linear performance at all speeds and regardless of throttle opening. At the same time, the throttle limiter gives parents complete freedom to adapt the available performance to their rider's capabilities.
The CRF 110 F is equipped with a four-speed gearbox, paired with a simple automatic clutch that is easy to use. The electric starter facilitates use for the youngest riders, but the kick starter remains available if needed.
