Overview

The Fat Bob is first and foremost a face. A commanding expression, which calms the entire pack, with bulging eyes embedded in a metal cage. The Bobber spirit (born after the Second World War) is expressed here, doubled with an imposing musculature. The twin headlights, the 49 mm forks with black sleeves, the flat drag-bar handlebar, and the thick front tire command respect. Big muscles ahead! This brings a touch of Popeye to the Dyna range. Be careful not to confuse it, because although its name immediately makes you think of the Fat Boy, the latter belongs to the Softail clan. With its large 130 front tire and an announced dry weight of 305 kg, the Fat Bob won’t help you when you need to take it into a corner. But we don’t care. The large 1584 twin takes care of the driving pleasure, with a musical score orchestrated by the twin Tommy-Gun exhaust. From the full rims edged with dazzling chrome cutouts to the polished fins of the Twin Cam 96, to the ogive turn signals, this large custom knows who it’s for and flatters the ego as much as the retina. The Fat Bob is for rebels, for leather jackets that enchant young ladies, for those who live in the moment without burdening themselves with superfluities.
