Overview

The "Monster Edition" color scheme is carried over for 2023. The public seems to appreciate it, as Yamaha is offering a special livery for two years in a row. Unlike the standard model's blue livery, this design is much more focused on black, with a huge neon green M on the sides. The brand thus highlights the strong partnership it has with the energy drink, with its Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 and MXGP teams.

Few changes for this model this year. There are new settings for the SSS fork, as well as a new transmission sprocket, a gold-colored chain, and DID rims. The rear wheel consists of a wider rim accommodating a 110/90 tire, as well as a lighter hub and redesigned spokes.

No technical modifications to report since the standard 250. The Monster Energy YZs are identical in every way to the production versions. The Yamaha YZ 250 F already benefited from a major overhaul in 2021. Revised engine, redesigned intake, refined injection, ACT retuned, more robust transmission, improved chassis, optimized braking... In short, a top-tier weapon for MX. All the developments and specifics of the YZ 250 F are detailed here -> or in a summary below:
