Overview

The YZ 250 F shows a beautiful evolution this year, following decades of technical progress. How long has it been? Ohla, a long time, very long ago. This special edition of motocross machines in 2024 informs us of decades of commitment in MX. Yamaha unveiled its first production motocross machines 50 years ago. And over this half-century, the YZ models have stood out for their competitiveness and innovations, regardless of the categories.

The new YZ250F 50th Anniversary celebrates this important chapter in YZ history and commemorates Yamaha’s first motocross world championship title. Featuring an exclusive historical color scheme inspired by the 1990s and all the latest technologies equipping the latest generation two-and-a-half, this 50th Anniversary edition offers riders the opportunity to own a commemorative machine. The white bodywork is adorned with purple/pink patterns, while the purple seat and black rims complete the look to create a uniquely styled anniversary model.

This motocross features an all-new frame inspired by the YZ 450 F, ultra-compact bodywork, increased mid-range power, and new adjustment features via the Power Tuner app. Retaining the highly appreciated strengths of the previous model, the 2024 YZ 250 F is lighter, faster, and easier to handle.
