Overview
Based on the XJR 1300, the Italian company Deus Ex Machina has created a remarkable and singular café racer. With its relocated headlight in a vintage sport fairing, this creation, in the Yard Built lineage, instantly disrupts and seduces enthusiasts of custom builds. Named Eau Rouge, this machine is a reinterpretation of superbikes from the 1970s to 1980s. The handmade seat, the tank, and the cyclops headlamp give the impression of dealing with a retro endurance motorcycle. The metallic grey paint echoes the decoration of the old Yamaha competition bikes.
Striking from afar, the XJR Yard Built "Eau Rouge" generates discussion up close. Beautiful parts have invaded the motorcycle and sublimate it. The fork is badged Öhlins, a name that breathes competition; however, it is not an inverted model. The arrangement of the tubes is classic to remain in the retro spirit, like on the Norton 961 Commando Sport. The 5-spoke gold rims are signed Marvic, the brake calipers are engraved Discacciati, and minimalism shares the spotlight with elements machined from solid stock. The sports dashboard spits out sport, with a single tachometer (however adorned with a piece of digital window. The Öhlins rear shocks complete the rear. Upon starting, one can only be seized by the guttural voice of the 4-cylinder engine, released by the 4-into-1 titanium exhaust. A particularly marked motorcycle, visually mesmerizing, which will remain for the moment a star of the shows. For more information on Deus Ex Machina: http://it.deuscustoms.com.
