Overview
The Alps are part of the paradise routes for motorcyclists, with endless turns, sumptuous scenery, and a few snowflakes that caress your nose. Trail bikes are legion there; enough to motivate Triumph to once again offer a Tiger inspired by this region.
The English family is bringing out the winter gear with this Tiger 900 Alpine Edition. A fire-and-ice trail-GT enriched with a few elements, as in the good old days of Triumph Special Edition models with great deals. The fire is stirred up in the 3-cylinder engine that warms the curves and bursts with its 108 horsepower. The ice settles on the refreshing and illuminated Alpine décor, a blend of frosted blue and struck white.
Triumph takes the GT Pro as a base, with its extensive equipment, to which is added a pair of crash bars and an Akrapovic silencer. This is the first time Hinckley is offering a Slovenian exhaust as standard equipment; usually, it’s Arrow that is called upon. However, this Tiger loses the heated seats and is not eligible for the gift of a 2-suitcase kit from the special "Tiger 900 Family" offer. Two extra accessories, less comfort, adorned with a dress for Courchevel, that’s what defines this Alpine Edition, for 400 quid more. It’s up to you to see if the melody of an Akra is worth not having your backside warmed. Nevertheless, this Tiger still requires a significant financial effort: almost 17 plates for a 900.
