Overview
One doesn't choose the colors of a motorcycle born to win by chance. The Tiger 900 Rally Pro Aragon Edition is first and foremost a tribute in carbon and paint, a civilian replica of the beast that swept the Baja Aragon 2022. Triumph doesn't settle for a sticker; it injects the spirit of competition directly into the veins of this trail bike. Gray, black, and those electric yellow racing stripes that scream performance, you're just a painted rear tank away from Ivan Cervantes’ bike. It’s serious business.

Underneath this champion's disguise, you find the Rally Pro trim level, already a machine built for the job. The trio of inline cylinders, that famous 888 cm³ with such a distinctive sound, delivers its 95 horsepower with a generosity that makes you forget the raw numbers. Torque, however, is the master card, available early and tenacious, perfect for pulling off the beaten path. With a dry weight of 201 kilos, it’s not a feather, but its chassis and low center of gravity give it surprising agility compared to a more cumbersome BMW F 850 GS Adventure.
Where the Aragon edition hits hard is in its physical preparation. It inherits the Showa inverted, long-travel fork, additional tank protection bars, and an aluminum engine guard. It’s armor for the desert. The rider is positioned high, at 85 cm from the ground, a dominant position that can be intimidating, but which offers a perfect view of the trails. For the touring enthusiast seeking comfort, the Tiger 900’s seat height can be an obstacle, but for the adventurer, it’s the ticket of entry.
Technology is served generously, to the point of wondering if you’re sometimes paying for gadgets. Cornering ABS, the six riding modes, the cruise control, the connected 7-inch TFT console, the Brembo Stylema brakes… the list is long, very long. It’s both the strength and the weakness of the beast. At nearly 16,600 euros, you’re in the high end, on par with a KTM 890 Adventure R, but with a different philosophy. Triumph focuses on refinement and complete equipment, where the Austrian focuses on aggressiveness and lightness.
Ultimately, this Aragon Edition is more than just a paint job. It’s a concentrate of Triumph’s rally spirit, intended for those who want a machine ready for extreme adventure, without compromise, but with all modern comfort. It’s a tool for passionate riders, demanding and expensive, that looks you in the eye and asks if you’re up to the terrain it can conquer. For the rider seeking a trail bike that is both civilized and wild, capable of linking two continents in a heated armchair and then tearing up a track the next day, it is a very compelling proposition, despite its price, which remains the ultimate obstacle to overcome.
