Overview

Ten Triumphs; Ten chosen ones; Ten motorcycles enriched with chrome; Ten ways to design an extra refinement. In this 2023 collection of Triumphs, we find the 900 Scrambler. Certainly the most restrained in terms of ornamentation but not the least spirited of the bunch. As its name suggests, this fellow doesn’t hesitate to smile when he sees a bit of dirt on the edges of the road.

But for now, it focuses on a shimmering patina. The specific chrome application process, long and demanding, finds its revelation at the knee-grip locations. Almost timid halos but sufficient to give the Scrambler a particular cachet.

This tank is the expressive ground of this special series. Across its entire territory, it is covered in an elegant Brooklands green color, superbly British, cut by a black stripe in the middle. A good dose of extra work, for a restrained, elegant, and tasteful result.

Its big brother 1200 chose an inverse decoration, with much more chrome and less English green. For a price unlike any other. And for a very different use. With its 900 twin of 65 horsepower, the Scrambler likes to cruise nose to the wind, with a little punch in the connecting rods and good humor in the spokes. Triumph has installed three Riding Modes to play with this mood. Rain and Road modulate the throttle response and traction control; Off-road cuts the ABS and traction control. For those who want to discover the Bonneville in the pastures.
