Overview

«Why? More black – And why only black!? You can turn night into something more spirited, can't you!». The Bobber Black is right. To give a motorcycle a certain flair, to accessories, to envy, black tones suit well, bringing their share of elegance or mystery, or even a sought-after taciturn side, but... But you can distinguish yourself by bringing more than a dark color applied from one end of the wheels to the other. The tone is set, and this supremely assertive Triumph crosses the night with its desires. How?

By pushing everything in front. The standard Bobber already had a significant presence, with its truncated rear, its hardtail-style frame, and its seat chopped with an axe. This Black edition identifies itself through several points. Let's start with the most obvious and already mentioned: it is black all over, but in two colors: glossy or matte. The parts that pass under the paint shower are numerous: complete exhaust lines, wheel hubs, tank, headlight bezel, engine casings, levers, handlebars, seat support, and foot controls.

Now, let's turn our attention to where the Bobber Black goes further, appropriates the road: its front end is much more robust. From the standard version, the forks go from 41 to 47 mm. The front wheel shrinks from 19 to 16 inches and gains a second 310 mm brake disc. More muscular, more filled, the rear of the motorcycle undeniably gains in aggression but also in efficiency. This front end will allow for a more virile ride, more in line with the dark soul of the men of the shadows who will desire it. The scale appreciates it less, a small ten kilos pushing its needle above 237 units.

The Bobber Black takes the opportunity to recover a new headlight with a marked light signature. Behind it, we find all the elements capable of providing all sorts of pleasures on a ride. This monoplace seat on suspension, whose positioning is adjustable; its 1200 cm3 High Torque twin-cylinder engine, more generous in torque than on the Bonneville; its copious embedded electronics, playing it safe with ABS, electronic throttle, Rain and Road riding modes, switchable traction control, and cruise control. Put your seat down, turn the key, wake the twin, and open it generously. There are almost 11 mkgs of torque waiting at 4000 rpm and a stable of 77 horses through the connecting rods. Everyone looks at you wherever you go?!?!? Isn't that what you wanted........
