Overview
When the World Supersport Championship opens its doors to muscular middleweight machines, Varese responds with a weapon of massive appeal. The MV Agusta F3 RR 800 2025 is not content to play a bit part in the paddock: it arrives with solid technical arguments and styling that divides as much as it fascinates. Up against the Ducati Panigale V2 and the Triumph Daytona 765, the Italian intends to defend its territory with a ferocious three-cylinder and aerodynamics shaped for the track.

Let's address the controversial subject right away. The winglets, those carbon appendages grafted onto the fairing, generate 8 kg of aerodynamic downforce at 240 km/h. The gain in stability and traction control relief is real. But they break the purity of line that the F3 carried so well. MV has offset the added drag with a redesigned windscreen, new fairing side panels, and a front fender whose lower section channels air toward the brake calipers to cool them. This detail, rare on a production machine, betrays a concern for overall efficiency rather than a mere styling exercise. The tubular steel trellis frame, stiffened by new aluminum plates derived from the platform shared with the Brutale and Dragster, gains in precision. The rear wheel, lightened by 425 grams, reduces inertia by 10%, which is concretely felt on corner entry. For a sportbike weighing 173 kg dry, this is the kind of detail that makes the difference between a lively bike and a nervous one.
Beneath the fairing, the 798 cc three-cylinder remains a block of character. Compact, aggressive, it delivers 147 horsepower at 13,000 rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 10,100 rpm. The 13.3:1 compression ratio, titanium valves, revised injectors, and optimized exhaust system make up an engine that revs with an almost unsettling fury. With the factory-supplied racing kit, comprising a titanium Akrapovic exhaust and a dedicated ECU, power climbs to 155 horsepower while weight drops to 165 kg dry. The power-to-weight ratio then becomes frankly indecent. This kit, which also includes a seat cowl and racing fuel cap, transforms the machine into an unapologetic track tool.
The onboard electronics make no compromises. The inertial measurement unit enables lean-angle-sensitive traction control, Continental cornering ABS, adjustable anti-wheelie, launch control, and four riding modes. The third-generation bidirectional quickshifter and the 5.5-inch TFT display round out a cockpit worthy of a top-tier supersport. The MV Ride app connects the bike to a smartphone to adjust parameters, follow navigation, or review riding data. On the braking side, radially mounted Brembo Stylema calipers bite 320 mm discs with reassuring power, backed by a PR 16/19 master cylinder and factory-fitted Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa IV tires.
Then comes the question every Italian sportbike enthusiast asks: what is the price of the MV Agusta F3 RR 800 2025 in France? The bill comes to 21,600 euros, a price tag that places it in an uncomfortable zone. For a comparable sum, one can eye Japanese hypersports that are significantly more powerful. Yet the F3 RR does not play in the same league. It targets the demanding rider, one sensitive to mechanical refinement and exclusivity, who prefers a three-cylinder with a unique sound signature over an anonymous inline-four. In this very specific niche, between middleweight sportbike and homologated track weapon, the Varese proposition remains hard to rival. Provided you accept the price of Italian prestige.
