Overview

MV Agusta has been really letting loose on special series and creations lately. In quick succession, we’re seeing the Brutale RVS, models decked out in Reparto Corse colors (F4, F3, Dragster, Turismo Veloce, etc.), the LH44 from the collaboration with Lewis Hamilton… but real innovations? Nothing. We’ll take solace in this new livery, a collaboration with a renowned brand, this time in Pirelli colors. The Italian manufacturer is the star of the Brutale 800 RR.

It’s not the first time. Back in 2013, MV had dressed a Brutale 800 with Diablo tire colors. A unique model to make a statement. This time, the factory is going further by offering the public a limited series based on the most spirited of Brutale three-cylinder models. A rare peculiarity: the machine consumes fuel lively or sharply. Explanation: the bike is available in two colors. A vibrant blue largely coated in gray or a fiery red with hints of gray/black. To enhance its presence, the factory has equipped this Brutale with wheels borrowed from the F4. The rear takes the opportunity to increase in size and displays a large 200 width. The tires are, of course, the stars of the show. Pirelli Supercorsa SP tires, almost slicks, continue the machine’s identity with a few touches of color on their flanks. Alas, this colorful embellishment is an option.

Beyond the design flourishes, the Brutale 800 RR Pirelli features the “D” logo, characteristic of Pirelli’s sport tires, on its tank. The seat is specific to each version. Furthermore, a few elements stand out discreetly, such as the headlight bracket, the rear frame, and the air intake grilles, which are lacquered in black. Another limited edition to add to the MV Agusta collection. But not one to be left locked away. Its 140 horsepower needs high RPMs and space to flourish. And it would be a shame not to put the tires it cherishes so much to the test. The price, on the other hand, is difficult to swallow.
