Overview
When a motorcycle becomes an industrial sculpture, when Milanese craftsmanship pushes the cursor to the point of absurdity with talent, you find yourself facing something that goes well beyond the notion of a custom build. That is precisely what Valter Moto Components, a small Italian outfit specializing in surgical work with noble alloys, has accomplished with this Dragster 800 Blackout 2.0. The foundation is already serious: 140 horsepower at 12,300 rpm for 168 kg dry, an inline-three that delivers 87 Nm of torque at 10,100 rpm and drives the machine to a top speed of 245 km/h. MV Agusta supplies a choice canvas; Valter Moto transforms it into a cult object.

The first shock is the exhaust system. Crafted entirely from titanium, it runs rearward before reversing course just ahead of the rear wheel, splitting into three pipes that expel gases toward the front of the machine. It defies all conventional logic, visually disorienting, and yet possesses a formal coherence that is entirely its own. No production customizer offers anything this radical. The Ducati Monster or Street Triple RS look tame beside this extraordinary sonic and visual statement.
The rest of the machine follows the same philosophy of obsessive precision. Titanium takes charge of the clip-ons and license plate bracket, aluminum covers the fork yokes and lever, frame, and engine guards, while Delrin makes its way into the brake reservoirs and adjustable footpegs. The 43 mm inverted fork tubes receive a Cirafici anti-friction treatment, the shock absorber comes from Bitubo, and the Brembo M50 radial calipers bite 320 mm front discs with a profile dubbed "Batfly," cooled by carbon fiber ducting. At €33,480, you are clearly in a different dimension from the direct competition — though the comparison no longer makes much sense at this level of personalization.
The instrumentation completes the task of placing this Dragster in a class of its own. The "Chrome Plus" color screen by I2M runs on a 1 GHz processor, packs 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage, a GPS chip, and a direct link to the rear camera housed under the tail unit. It is the equipment of a competition prototype, not a street motorcycle. Jonich Wheels rims round out the visual identity of the 2.0 version, with graphics work entrusted to Tecnoart Sersan, a Milanese studio accustomed to working with MV Agusta on exceptional projects.
Nineteen examples worldwide. Two months of workshop time for each machine. A seat height of 811 mm and the temperament of the inline-three reserve it for experienced riders seeking a truly unique motorcycle in the strictest sense of the word, not an everyday companion. The Dragster Blackout 2.0 is not a motorcycle you choose for its raw performance — the stock MV Agusta's credentials are already formidable. You choose it because you refuse the ordinary, and because you are prepared to pay the price of an entry-level Porsche to ride something that nobody else owns.
