Overview

Moto Guzzi presents its V7 III Milano as a motorcycle for cruising around the city center. Milan’s, no less? It’s true that the machine seems very well suited to it. Small size, notable discretion, the opposite of streetfighter fury, and gently patinated in grey. In short, we’re playing bucolic.

The name is pretty, but Guzzi hasn't made much of an effort to create this umpteenth version of the V7 III. Dual-dial instrumentation, chrome exhausts, passenger handle, 'old school' stitched saddle... Everything is taken from the Special - that is, the 'classy' version of the V7. To create the Milano, the manufacturer installed the Stone’s spoked wheels, fitted the Racer’s airbox side panels, and then applied a grey color. A somewhat meager endowment, especially for wandering around a fashion capital.

Nothing, however, contradicts the gentle charm of the mechanics, which is regularly modernized while retaining its choices from another time. For devotees of retro or mechanical style, its laterally cooled finned heads still have an effect. A good fifty horsepower are there for the most tranquil riding; character takes care of the rest.
