Overview
The return of the Stelvio was unanimously praised, with a lively and successful engine, a more modern design than the previous 1200 version, and handling that does honor to the Mandello badge. The year 2025 celebrated a particular event, which this Guzzi was bound to participate in.
Via a special series. The 1000 Stelvio arrives on the market in a Duecento Tributo edition. A showy way to pay homage to the number 200.200 what? Well, it has been 200 years since a road exists to reach the summit of the highest paved pass in the Italian Alps. 40 hairpin turns on one side, 48 on the other - enough to give any rider an angle.
This Stelvio therefore celebrates the two centuries of existence of this road. It shows its difference loud and clear with a particularly refreshing blue-white-red livery. But don't believe for a moment that it has developed a moment of tenderness for France. The white refers to the snow, the colored notes recall the clothing for mountain trekking. The graphics also evoke the road leading to this summit, the coordinates of which are inscribed on the sides: 46° 31' 42.96'' north, 10° 27' 09.72'' east.
To really mark the occasion, Guzzi added some equipment to this version, which is based on the Stelvio PFF Rider Assistance, already well-equipped with technical solutions. The Duecento Tributo receives heated seats and grips, the Up&Down shifter, the MIA multimedia platform, tire pressure monitoring, a center stand, a radiator protection grille (with stylized wings), and a laser-engraved plate with its serial number. It only lacks luggage to be complete.
Limited series, let's be clear. The factory has decided on a production of 2758 units; that’s the altitude in meters of the aforementioned pass. Once up there, the tires will be well warm and the air a little fresh. No problem, the electrically adjustable screen will have protected the rider correctly. An opportunity to stop and take a photo, appreciate once again the monobrach, the silhouette of the Stelvio, its spoked rims, and reflect on all the onboard equipment: 46 mm inverted fork, Brembo brakes, 5-inch TFT screen, traction control and angle-sensitive ABS, 5 Riding Modes, cruise control, handguards, and radar system. The latter provides safeguards in line with current trends, identified as FCW (forward collision warning), BLIS for being warned of a vehicle in the blind spot, and LCA to warn of a rear-end risk when changing lanes.
Finally, depart with the melody of the 115 horsepower twin and its timeless presence. Very attractive both by its equipment and its qualities, the Guzzi 1000 Stelvio Duecento Tributo should however make the price cough. Close to 20,000 euros, no doubt.
Guzzi may have been too optimistic about its sales forecasts. Although the color scheme is very pleasing, the Duecento apparently did not sell out its stock in 2025 and is being carried over to 2026.

The Riding Modes of the Stelvio in detail: - Turismo (Touring): Engine braking intervention is at a medium level, to facilitate deceleration with only the release of the throttle; engine mapping is progressive (level 2 out of 3); traction control is at the third level out of four. - Pioggia (Rain): All electronic assists are adapted to better cope with difficult weather conditions. Engine braking is at a medium level; power is very gentle (level 3 out of 3); traction control is at the highest level. - Strada (Road): Engine braking is at a medium level; engine management is progressive (level 2 out of 3); traction control is at level 2 out of 4. - Sport: Enough to offer a dynamic experience. Engine braking is not very present; engine mapping is the most direct and sporty (level 1 out of 3); traction control is the least intrusive (first level out of four), while ABS has a calibration that allows for very strong braking. - Off-Road: Mode specifically developed for off-road riding. Engine braking is very present and engine management is the most direct. Traction control and ABS have specific calibrations for off-road: the former at the minimum intervention level, while the latter is only present on the front wheel. It is possible to eliminate both traction control (in all riding modes) and ABS on both wheels (in off-road mode only).
