Overview

The spicy red is gone for the Full Throttle. Since 2025, this Scrambler has adopted a black arabica hue with bronze accents. The stripes, the calligraphy, and especially the superb wheels exude a most appreciable class.

The Full Throttle still defends a Flat track inspiration. This is noticeably affirmed with the presence of a number plate under the seat. The large 62 refers to the year of the first Scrambler’s release. Like the previous generation, the Full Throttle gives a little more presence to the engine with a Termignoni exhaust. A shame, it’s no longer the provocative and sporty double silencer of yesteryear.

Let's also see its effort to hide the enormous and unsightly gas dampening chamber. It’s not easy to compose with Euro5+. Apparently annoyed, this version of the Scrambler also stands out with its minimized front fender, a streamlined rear fender, Ducati Performance turn signals, an aluminum engine guard, a low-profile variable-section handlebar, a dedicated seat, and the addition of the Up&Down shifter as standard.

This generation of Full Throttle also relies on the general improvements of the family to continue to seduce. Its face has progressed in audacity with this large X looming over the LED headlight. Design is an essential element of this motorcycle. The rear light, the radiator covers, the steel tank with interchangeable covers, the finish of the belt guards, and the stamp on the engine casings have been revised in this design direction.

In Bologna, a lot of work has been done to make the machine lighter. 4 kilos have disappeared, notably through the redesign of the frame and swingarm. The twin has lost 2.5 of its own and still develops its 73 horsepower. It is now supported by two Riding Modes (Road and Wet) and 4-level traction control (deactivatable). Still on the electronics side, the instrumentation changes dimension with a 4.3-inch color TFT screen; which Ducati has made a little cheap with a decorative bezel to recall the retro side of the Scrambler.

For the chassis, the 41mm Kayaba inverted fork, the central shock absorber (it was located on the old Scramblers) and the braking system are identical to the Icon. Cornering ABS monitors each disc (one per wheel); a large 330mm at the front with Brembo monoblock pistons to clamp it and a 245mm at the rear.

It was there at the beginning of the Scrambler renaissance; it finds its place in the Next Gen. The Full Throttle presents itself as the sportiest in the range. No major upheavals for this chapter and a still so marked endearing side for one of the most rebellious machines of the Italian brand.
