Overview

With a striking evolution, the "mid-size" Monster reinforces its position while opening up new possibilities and a wider range of action. With a powerful (112 horsepower) and modern Testastratta engine (liquid cooling – 4 valves per cylinder), the 821 Monster has responsiveness, character, and above all, attitude.

Like some members of the Ducati family, the 821 Monster is available in Dark version. With one keyword: black. A deep and anonymous color, with a matte tone to cover the beast. The rims and the frame also disappear into the shadows. Bright colors have only managed to conquer two bastions: the rear spring (yellow) and the MONSTER logo on the tank (red). Besides appreciating this dark side, the 821 Monster stands out for its price. In this color scheme, it just dipped below 10,000 euros at its release. Today, inflation has caused it to cross that psychological barrier - but we retain the advantage of a large violet compared to the standard 821. Without detracting from the tempting array: seductive design, minimalist trellis frame, fiery twin, 3-level ABS, 8-level traction control, 3 Riding Modes, large inverted fork and Brembo braking. We just regret, as on the standard 821, the disappearance of the monobras...
