Overview
When Aprilia releases a Factory version, the message is clear: we’ve moved beyond dressed-up roadsters or price compromises, and into a machine designed for those who want the best without going through the pure racing circuit box. The Aprilia RS 660 Factory 2025 fits into this logic, and for €13,999, it claims a very precise position in the accessible sporty segment: that of a middleweight that refuses compromises.

The 659 cc parallel-twin engine, producing 105 horsepower for 68 Nm of torque, forms the heart of the project. These figures speak for themselves, but it’s primarily the power-to-weight ratio of the Aprilia RS 660 Factory that catches the eye: 183 kg fully fueled on the scale, which places the machine in a category where the Yamaha R7 and the Honda CBR650R struggle to convince the most demanding riders. The RS 660 Factory weighs less, pulls harder, and turns at a 13.5:1 compression ratio, which clearly illustrates the sporty ambitions of the engine. A top speed announced at 235 km/h on a machine under 700 cc is a serious promise.
What truly distinguishes the Factory version of the RS 660 is the standard-fit Öhlins suspension, fully adjustable. The 43 mm inverted fork and the separate reservoir monoshock are not there just to dress up the technical specifications: they allow for real fine-tuning work, whether for the track or for twisty roads. The double-beam aluminum frame with removable rear subframe maintains a contained wheelbase of 1382 mm, which guarantees directional agility that heavier sportbikes simply cannot reproduce. Front Brembo calipers on dual discs complete the picture with the expected rigor.

The Aprilia RS 660 Factory 2025 targets a specific rider profile: someone who has moved beyond the discovery stage, who attends track days, and who wants a machine capable of keeping up on the track without imposing a posture of suffering on the road. The 820 mm seat height is not intimidating, and fuel consumption of 4.08 liters per 100 km with a 15-liter tank offers adequate range for travel between sessions. Note that the Factory version is not A2 homologated, which clearly orients the buyer profile towards unrestricted licenses.

The only objective drawback to mention concerns the price. €13,999 is the question everyone asks about the Aprilia RS 660 Factory, and the answer is nuanced. Compared to a standard RS 660, the difference is justified by the standard-fit Öhlins and the new racing optics. Compared to a KTM RC 390 or a Kawasaki Z650, the delta is significant, but these machines don’t play in the same league. The real competition is on the side of the Triumph Daytona 660 or the Yamaha R7 enhanced with homologated accessories, and there the positioning holds up. On the used market, the Aprilia RS 660 Factory is negotiated with a still modest depreciation, a sign that the market recognizes the value of the mechanics.
