Overview
Riding high in Yamaha’s road/adventure lineup, the Super Ténéré has benefited from a discreet update to meet the demands of the segment. Playing on dynamism and comfort, the XTZ doesn’t seek to pursue the missile-like qualities of some maxi-trails. Here, a touch of charisma, a subtle desire to travel from the horizon to the highway, a more lively engine, and a hint of Dakar memories.
Once won over, you can be tempted by the Worldcrosser version. This designation evokes adventure on all fronts around the globe. This kit is primarily intended to better protect the 1200 Super Ténéré. To do this, the Yam is equipped with aluminum frame protectors, as well as protection sets and carbon fiber covers. We discover parts to consider the drive shaft, the bottom of the fork, the rear brake, and an aluminum engine guard to avoid the trials of beautiful rocks and other TT surprises. A graphics kit continues to distinguish this Worldcrosser version. We would have appreciated a knobbed tire set, more suited to maintaining the idea of long, sandy stages; even if few will venture there.
