Twenty-five years after revolutionizing the two-wheeled segment, the Yamaha TMAX is offering a special series for 2026. This exclusive edition, available for one year only, pays homage to the pioneer of sporty maxi-scooters that has transformed the European market since its launch in 2001.

Launched at the beginning of the millennium, the TMAX established a new concept by combining the dynamic performance of a motorcycle with the practicality of a scooter. With more than 340,000 units sold in Europe, this model has become the flagship of Yamaha’s “MAX” range. Today, this lineage (including the XMAX and NMAX) represents more than 80% of the brand’s scooter sales on the continent.

To mark this anniversary, the Japanese manufacturer is offering a high-end version with specific aesthetic attributes, while retaining the technical foundation of the current ninth generation.

The “25th Anniversary” edition is distinguished by an exclusive livery and refined finishes:

Color scheme: A “Deep Armar” bodywork (matte dark metallic grey) contrasted by light grey “boomerang” elements, a direct reminder of the 2006 Black MAX edition.

Seat: An exclusive double-stitched red seat, featuring a hot-stamped logo.

Premium details: Chrome red 3D TMAX emblems, black wheels with machined edges, and an engine cover with an anodized ring.

Underneath this commemorative attire, the TMAX remains true to its reputation as a sporty scooter. It features a 560 cm³ twin-cylinder engine compliant with Euro5+ standards, developing a power of 35 kW / 47.6 hp (making the vehicle accessible with an A2 license) and a torque of 55 Nm.

The chassis is based on a die-cast aluminum twin-spar frame, associated with an inverted fork and an extended swingarm to guarantee optimal stability. On the braking side, the model is equipped with Yamaha’s Brake Control System (BC), complementing the standard ABS.

The cockpit integrates a 7-inch color TFT screen offering three display modes. Connectivity is ensured by the MyRide application, allowing management of calls and music, while the integrated Garmin Motorize mapping navigation is free.

Finally, practical aspects are not forgotten: the Smart Key keyless start system allows control of the ignition, opening of the seat and tank, as well as locking of the center stand.
