Overview
We often talk about motorcycle legends, but some are tougher than others. The Ace Café in London is one of those, a sanctuary of rock and machines where gasoline and nicotine have mingled for decades. When Triumph and dealer Jack Lilley decided to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its rebirth, they didn't just create a sticker or an exclusive color. They created an object, a statement. The Street Triple 675 ACE CR, produced in only ten numbered copies, is that statement. An ultra-limited series sold for nearly £13,000, a price well above that of a standard Street Triple. This is the price of exclusivity, and of workshop modifications.

The result is a modern café racer that doesn't do things by halves. The large round headlight and LSL clubman handlebars immediately set the tone. A quickshifter is added, along with an Arrow dual exhaust with a heat shield, and a range of LSL parts: clocks, grips, levers, mirrors, footrests, and even a specific rear shock absorber. The engine guard completes the look of a machine ready for the track, or for a lively urban ride. The paint, striped with a long checkered flag, is the final signature. It's no longer a production motorcycle; it's a customization project almost complete before it's even delivered.
But beneath this suit, it remains fundamentally the 2011 Street Triple 675. Its three-cylinder 675 cc engine, rated at 106 horsepower at 11,700 rpm and 68.6 Nm of torque, is a gem. This mechanism offers a unique sound and a lively response that is the key to the model's success. With a dry weight of 167 kg and a 17.4-liter tank, it remains agile and usable. The perimeter aluminum frame, 41 mm inverted fork, and radial braking provide a solid technical foundation for a streetfighter. A seat height of 805 mm is accessible, but this version with its clubman handlebars radically changes the riding position, orienting the machine towards a more engaged, more café racer style.
Compared to a standard Street Triple, this ACE CR is not more powerful. It is more stylish, more exclusive, and much more expensive. Its audience? The collector, the enthusiast of the Triumph brand, or those who want a pre-customized base without going through the stages of a project. For the everyday rider, the standard version is much more rational. But here, rationality has no place. We are in emotion, in the celebration of a mythical place, and in the expression of a certain idea of modern café racer. It is a machine of passion, not of logic. And with only ten copies, it will remain a rare piece in Triumph's history, a vibrant tribute to a culture that refuses to die.
