Overview
The Black version has become inseparable from the Triumph Bonneville. It allows you to enjoy the cool, vintage riding feel of Miss Bonnie with the dark, shadowy, almost bad boy side infused by this color.
Certainly, there is already a black color for the standard T100, but the Black pushes the brush further. It acts on the exhausts, engine casings, headlight surround, wheels, indicators and foot controls. In this dark episode, only the Triumph logos, injection covers and cooling fin machining attempt a luminous boldness.
The 900 Bonneville T100 Black is distinguished only by its paint scheme. It is technically identical to the classic Bonnie. Its 900 cm3 engine comes from the ex-Street Twin, with 55 horsepower, a good torque of 8.2 mkg, liquid cooling, ride-by-wire, injection and traction control. A cruise control can be added as an option. No frills on the chassis side, which needs nothing more than its steel tubular twin-spar frame, 18 and 17 inch spoked wheels and a disc brake per wheel. ABS is present, as well as a USB port, a coded immobilizer, an LED rear light, an assist clutch and a large stock of accessories to personalize it. If, a few thousand km later, the desire for more torque and a sixth gear becomes too strong, you can find all the Black spirit in the 1200 Bonneville; for almost 2000 euros extra.
Black, it’s black! Or rather, with the Bonnie Black, there is a shade of black: it is offered with the dark Matt Ironstone, Matt Black or Jet Black colors, allowing you to choose a patina or a gloss. So you see, seeing life in black is not necessarily sad.
