It took the engine from the GSX-R 750, a furious inline four producing 116 horsepower at 10,500 rpm, and dressed it as if it had just left the pit box with Rins. The result? A machine that, at a standstill, flaunted its original Akrapovic carbon and electric blue with the arrogance of a factory rider. It was far from an anonymous roadster.

Suzuki played the racing authenticity card to the end. The numbered plate on the tank, the deep black that highlights the aggressive lines, the Akra exhaust that shaves off two kilos… this was not just for show. The chassis, borrowed from the standard version, remained a serious accomplice: a precise perimeter frame and adjustable suspensions that handled the 82.4 Nm of torque without flinching. On the road, it stood straight and firm, with this weight of 211 kg fully fueled that did not hinder its agility. It didn’t cut corners, but it rewarded you with raw sensations.
Yet, alongside a Yamaha MT-09 more focused on the low-mid range or a more refined Triumph Street Triple, the GSX-S 750 MotoGP had a character all its own. It required you to rev it out to deliver its full power, faithful to its sporting heritage. The radial front brake bit without fail, and the 180 rear tire gave it reassuring stability. It was clearly a motorcycle for those seeking a roadster with a supersport soul, capable of shining in the city as well as on winding roads, without resorting to minimalist austerity.
And speaking of price, what is the price of a 2019 Suzuki GSX-S 750 MotoGP? In 2018, Suzuki set the bar at 9,999 euros, an aggressive tactic for a limited series so well equipped.
