Overview

The W 800 continues to be offered in a more styled edition; but it changes name. It’s no longer the Spéciale but the Black Edition. The formula remains identical, everything being a matter of style. No special equipment, inverted forks, or racing parts, just a new color scheme. The 2015 version is less striking than the black and gold of the first special edition, but exudes a seductive aged flavor. A deep black coat covers the machine, from the fork to the bottom of the exhaust pipes. Only a few chrome parts escape the dark cloak that covers most of the machine. The spoked wheels are also black. You can enjoy the well-displayed bevel gear distribution, the polished cylinder head fins, the elegant "Black Edition" calligraphy, etc...

This color scheme is exchanged for a few euros more than the standard W 800. Then, it’s just a matter of cruising bucolically to the cheerful rhythm of the 48 horsepower of the parallel-twin engine. Neither sport, nor brutality, nor angst, just charm and a good mood, finishing with a touch of showing off.
