This small motorcycle is equipped with a 49cm3 air-cooled 4-stroke engine associated with an automatic clutch, 10-inch wheels and a low seat height that will surely inspire maximum confidence in these young people starting their riding career.

Chassis

With its welcoming architecture and low seat height, the CRF 50 F will not intimidate the youngest riders. A true small motorcycle, it features a steel frame and a reinforced swingarm that together offer an optimal balance between rigidity and comfort.

An inverted fork ensures effective and reassuring handling with 94mm of travel. It is paired with a single shock absorber that ensures this small motorcycle tackles bumps with efficiency and comfort.

The 10-inch steel rims stand out with their 28-spoke lacing, aluminum hubs and off-road tires that ensure easy and comfortable handling. At the front and rear, drums provide ample braking power.

Like every member of the Honda off-road range, the CRF 50 F proudly claims its heritage. With its styling inspired by the CRF 450 R, its compact fuel tank and narrow (11cm) and low seat (

The cross handlebar is fitted with central protection foam and grips that are easy to handle, just like the brake levers. The knurled and foldable footrests ensure optimal control, even in the mud. The plastic mudguards are solid and durable.

Engine

For the youngest riders starting out in off-road riding, the top priority is enjoyment. Parents' concerns will certainly be more focused on safety, reliability and ease of maintenance. The CRF 50 F aims to satisfy everyone…

The smallest of the CRF models is powered by a simple 49cm3 SOHC 4-stroke single-cylinder engine that delivers approximately 3 horsepower of progressive power, easy to exploit for beginners. The bore and stroke are set at 39 x 41.4mm with a compression ratio of 10 to 1. The ø 11mm carburetor ensures constant and linear performance at all speeds, regardless of throttle opening.

Fuel consumption is low, allowing for long riding sessions between refills. Simultaneously, a throttle limiter gives parents complete freedom to adapt the available performance to their rider's capabilities.

The ignition (with keyed switch) requires no maintenance, just like the distribution chain which has an automatic tensioner to optimize durability. Final transmission is via a 420 pitch chain, both reliable and requiring little maintenance. The air filter is easily accessible and washable while the exhaust is particularly quiet.

The CRF 50 F is equipped with a 3-speed gearbox, associated with a simple automatic clutch that is easy to use.
