Overview

On the other side of the Channel, television gives much more space to motorcycles than we do. One of the most prominent programs at the moment is called "The Motorbike Show," presented by Henry Cole. Of course, we don't care about that at all... Because what interests us is that one of the recurring participants in this show, Guy Willison, delivers a particular interpretation of the CB 1000 R.

With a little well-considered preparation, Guy gives it a slightly more retro look, patinated with an HRC inspiration. Nostalgia makes an appearance with an old version of the Honda logo, hand-painted on the sides of the tank.

A headlight fairing extended with a visor gives a good part of its personality to the CB 1000 R 5Four. But one of the designer's major concerns is the clean rear end. To achieve this, he removed the license plate-turn signal bracket attached to the swingarm, grafted on a thin LED taillight and installed a Growler X titanium Racefit exhaust (laser-engraved with the 5Four logo). As a result, the rear wheel and its monobrach feel liberated.

The customization also includes a very beautiful embossed leather seat with red stitching, machined LSL mirrors, sports levers with anodized adjustment wheels and a custom-made license plate holder. Technically, this machine is in every respect similar to a standard CB 1000 R, except that the shifter is added.

Manufactured in a limited series, the CB 1000 R 5Four will receive a numbered badge and a certificate of authenticity. To acquire it, nothing is simpler for the English; they just have to place an order with their local Honda dealer. For others.... Between Brexit, limited availability and all the import hassle, it is better to admire.

This theme, this dress, this particular aspect of homage to Honda reminds you of something, doesn't it!?! Indeed, Guy Willison had already created a special series 5our, with a CB 1100 RS 5Four. The expression now engages on the big neo-sport-cafe, with an extension of a little more than 5000 pounds.
