Overview
Let’s rediscover the taste of sport. Let the leather scrape against the wind. Let’s find the essence of a ride between boulevards, coastal curves, and mountain switchbacks. Let’s forget the world of hypersports to discover the Scrambler 1100 Sport PRO, a machine that mocks chronos and sliders. It's the other moment of pure riding pleasure, where you feel the road through a sense of demand.
This Scrambler is the most rigorous of the bunch. The one who wants to enjoy it the most. To that end, it’s entitled to Öhlins suspension. With its 48 mm fully adjustable inverted fork, its adjustable preload/rebound lateral shock absorber, and the Swedish "road feel," the ride promises to be tense, nervous, playful, without stormy outbursts. For that, you would need a wild engine. Not here, not for the Scramblers. The engine block comes from another time, and delivers a reasonable power of 86 horsepower. The choice of a 1079 cm3 primarily allows you to enjoy the torque, boasting a maximum of 9 mkg.
Between the Pro and the Sport Pro, the differences lie in the suspension, the lowered handlebar, the seat, and a deeper, more taciturn color scheme. One might think that this is actually a 1100 Sport simply benefiting from a new color scheme. Not really.
The Sport Pro tackles its zygotic twin with laterally mounted exhausts, a relocated license plate holder, mirrors fixed at the ends of the handlebars, and its Euro5 compliant twin. On the other hand, like him, like the Pro, like the others, it is equipped with traction control, 3 Riding Modes (Active, Journey, and City), Cornering ABS, a USB port under the seat, block-pattern tires, a steel trellis frame, a dual LCD screen instrumentation, large Brembo M4 brakes, and a gentleman rogue’s face.
Well, the rogue frequents the nicer neighborhoods more than the shadows of others. A pichenette more expensive than an R 1250 RT, and a tad less than a 1100 Tuono V4. These are not its direct rivals, but there is food for thought.
