Overview
The Monster 821 is the Ducati "mid-range" roadster; which means character, a spark of passion for the user, a moment where you don't feel the need to explain why you just want to romp with it and zeal. Its twin, rebellious at low RPM and full-on above, counts on its design for its charm games. On the chassis side, some might want to refine the suspension, especially when attacking. But there's no way to play with the screwdriver on the standard 821. So, Ducati now offers the Stealth, equipped with what it takes to adapt the damping.
Under its infiltration pseudonym, this Monster reprises the idea of the 821 Stripe. Does it wiggle too much to your taste? Or do you want more comfort? The Stealth allows you to remedy this with its fully adjustable Kayaba inverted fork. It can also give a slightly more sporty tone with its small windscreen, its Up&Down shifter and its dark color scheme inspired by a Metal Gear Solid mission. More rigor, more tactics, this Monster plays it strategically.
However, like the standard 821, it doesn't play it reasonable. If the 7% price increase doesn't seem stifling, it brings the Stealth to a price close to the higher segment. While its attack plan targets the public of MT-09 SP, Z 900, GSX-S 750, etc... It must rely on its more controlled chassis, its as seductive as possible line, the charm of its 109 hp engine, its powerful Brembo brakes and its well-present electronics (color TFT screen, 3 riding modes, 3-mode ABS, shifter, 8-level traction control, LED daytime running lights). An Italian story where intelligence cannot be lost.
