Overview
In 2011, Benelli celebrated its 100th anniversary. The small family workshop in Pesaro certainly did not expect such longevity when it began repairing cars and motorcycles at the beginning of the 20th century. And then there was the Motoleggera in 1921, the victory at the Tourist Trophy in 1939, the 750 Sei in the 1970s, the decline… And a resounding return under the spotlights with the remarkable Tornado and TnT. It is the roadster that will bear on its shoulders the honor of celebrating Benelli’s centenary. But let’s not get carried away, because the bride’s dowry is not so generous. This CENTURY RACER edition is an 1130 Cafe Racer featuring special paint, a ‘100 Anniversary’ sticker, and a vintage Benelli logo. The new Brembo radial brake calipers, revised suspension, Alcantara saddle, and new injection mapping are evolutions adopted by the entire 1130 TnT and not reserved only for the special edition. Even if the design has not changed since the appearance of the TnT for quite a few years, this Century 1130 Racer is a beautiful machine, boasting the punch of a mechanically robust and characterful engine.
