Overview
For long journeys with the Multistrada, the Touring version aims to satisfy many riders. But for those who want to carry a few extra bags to cross several borders, Ducati offers a more complete version: the GranTurismo.
Based on the MTS 1200 S Touring, this maxi trail-GT welcomes a host of accessories. The lines become less svelte, as does the weight, which climbs to 245 kilograms all fueled up, but the travel capabilities are multiplied tenfold. Larger saddlebags display an increased capacity from 58 to 73 liters; a waterproof bag in each of them keeps belongings dry. A top case with integrated backrest adds an additional 48 liters. Well-being improves on the Granturismo thanks to a Confort seat, a handlebar raised by 20 mm, and a larger windscreen. Note a few small additions such as the addition of auxiliary headlights under the fairing flanks, engine protection bars, a special coating on the tank flanks, and more durable specific tires (Pirelli Angel GT).
All this equipment comes in addition to the original equipment of the Touring. Namely: heated grips, ABS Bosch 9ME, 4 Riding Modes, traction control, center stand, LED headlights, the Testastretta II double ignition engine, ride-by-wire, hands-free starting, and Sachs electronic suspensions with Skyhook system. This semi-active management constantly adjusts the damping according to the Riding Mode or the chosen individual settings. With this Multistrada S Granturismo, you are ready to face more roads and all desires.
